RENT AGREEMENT format in word

This Rent Agreement is made at New Delhi on this 1s day of January 2026.

BETWEEN

Mr. xxxxxxx S/o xxxx R/O- xxxxxxxxx New Delhi 110092 (hereinafter called the “First Party/Landlord”.)

AND
xxxxxx D/o xxxxxx R/o xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 111111
(Hereinafter called the Second Party/Tenant.)

The expression of First Party/owner & Second party /tenant, both shall mean and include their respective legal heirs, successors, legal representatives, administrators, executors and assigns.

Whereas the first party is owner and is possession xxxxxxxm New Delhi 110092 (Hereinafter called the premises).

And whereas the second party/tenant has approached the first party to let out above said Floor of the said premises and the first party has agreed to let out the said premises on rent, on the following terms and conditions of this Rent Agreement

NOW THE WITNESSETH OF THIS RENT AGREEMENT IS AS UNDER:

  1. That the said tenancy has commenced from 01/01/2026 period of 11 months.

  2. That the purpose of letting is Residential and commercial.

  3. That the second party/Tenant shall pay a sum of 9500/- (Rupees nine thousand five hundred only) as a rent in advance to the First Party. And the Second Party/Tenant has deposited Rs.3000 as security amount without interest, which is refundable to the second party / Tenant by the first Party after deducting all dues.

  4. That the rent shall be paid in advance on or before 10th day of each English Calendar month to the first party by the Second party/Tenant.

  5. That the Electric shall be excluded in the monthly rent.

  6. That the Second Party/Tenant shall not make any addition or alteration in the subject premises without permission, and shall keep the same neat and clean.

  7. That the Tenant/Second Party shall not let out the same on rent or without rent to any other person /persons under any circumstances, and shall not also assign or part with the possession n of the said premises and the owner is fully authorized to inspect the said premises at any reasonable hours.

  8. That both the parties shall give one month advance notice to each other, if they want to vacate the same prior to the expiry of the tenancy period.

  9. That the Tenant shall keep the said premises neat and clean and shall do the day to day clearing. That all day to day all maintenance repair charges shall be payable by the tenant.

  10. That the tenant shall hand over the peaceful vacant possession of the same to the First Party after the expiry of tenancy period

  11. That the original Rent Agreement will remain with the First Party and duly attested photocopy will be given to the Second Party/Tenant.

  12. That both the parties shall abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreemen

  13. That the both Parties have signed on this rent agreement with their sound mind and good health
